Collection Agency

 

The IPA will take over the account and make every effort to collect payment following the laws of the State of Ohio( Ohio revised code sections 1319.12,1319.16 and 1345). It is agreed that the IPA will retain 25% of all collections paid, either to the IPA or the physician. If the IPA has to involve legal means due to further non-payment, the rate will be 40% of the amount collected. Legal means would only be sought after consultation with you as the last resort. The IPA will promptly reimburse physicians the net amount owning upon our receipt of any payments made on accounts according to above-mentioned percentages. This payment shall be made to the Physician by the IPA once a month.

 

Physician Billing Service

 

The IPA Physician Billing Agency charges 4.5% for all monies paid to the physician and/or group. Offices that input daily charges are charged a reduced rate of 3.5%. We also help in the setting up of the practice, if necessary, by providing necessary government, insurance, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid. and state forms. The 4.5% fees include: all forms, postage, patient statements,monthly reports, and telephone calls.
